Hi, Chris, Tamara, Ria, Sara, Conrad, Laura & Amanda,

I'll be in the Vancouver area from Nov 17 to 22.  Is there anything planned for AoH practitioners in the area?

Thank you,

Lisa.

Hi, all.  I'm new to AoH & eager to participate.  I work in the areas of attachment-based developmental approach to working with children & families towards building/restoring language & thinking skills.  Collaborative conversations are essential & I'd like to help create them as well as possible.  Graphic recording/facilitation is also a new found love.  Thank you for being here!

Hello Art of Hosting Vancouver Practitioner Community!

Sorry for my delayed invite - I got caught up in the garden :)

Yes, I am still interested in hosting a potluck/Circle in my garden here in Chilliwack.  I do have the 12th of August flagged for this gathering - however, it's coming up soon and I am wondering if the lot of you would rather bump it ahead to the (Sat) 18th? Can I get a show of hands who is interested in coming out on the 12th?   Or if there is more interest for the 18th?

To be a casual get together. We could sit in Circle (I would happily facilitate), and have a round of checking in followed by a heartfelt question to empower meaningful speaking and respectful listening time.  Then afterwards I would be happy to open up my bee hive, for you to experience the bees as well :) And then we can continue connecting during a potluck dinner.

For the potluck, I suggest bringing either a cold dish or a hot dish with enough for your party plus one. Please bring your own serving utensil and plates/cutlery that you will need (to then take home with you afterwards). I can supply coffee/tea/water. For those that bring a 'hot dish' we can sit them in the oven to warm up again before we eat.

This gathering would also be open to spouses :)

Please R.S.V.P. A.S.A.P so I know if this Sunday's a go or the next Sat. Thanks so much,

Laura

Hi everyone. Here is a basic google spreadsheet where we can document different meeting space options, add our contact info, and make notes of who will be hosting and attending upcoming events.

Please let me know if you have any challenges with the document.

Best regards,

Tamara

Yes, welcome Sara!

We had the best intentions to meet up monthly. The first meeting was awesome. I missed the second, which turned out to be a small handful of people. There hasn't been a date committed to since that I know of.

I am hoping to host a Circle in my garden during the summer, most likely July/August as June is quickly filling up. I am waiting on a couple of things before I go ahead and schedule something. I am also committed to being in the W. Vancouver area two Sundays every month (June, July and August) for a beekeeping course from 1 -3 and would happily meet up with others afterwards.

I realize this beautiful work and coming together is an organic process - The opportunity will present itself once again.

In joy,

Laura

Hi Sara. Welcome! We met as a group once, in January. Since then we haven't managed to get together again, although there were some offers to host during the summer months. I think there is more conversation happening by an email thread, since only a few people have so far joined this group.

Hello, hello, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Sara. Does this group meet regularly?

How did the February meeting go?  Will be there be a meet-up at the end of this month?
