There is a power and potency in stories we are only now rediscovering. As the basic form of human currency, stories hold our worldview, the wisdom of our experiences, our history and legacy and potentially clues about the way forward. The key to unlocking their power is learning how to work with story – both for yourself, for the groups and systems you are part of.

On this three day residential training we will look at how story works on the individual, group and meta-systemic levels, using our own stories as the material for our practice together. Our work will be based on a simple six-step model, The Tao of Story, a placeholder for a rich practice of both Storytelling and StoryWork.

Led by international story activist, Mary Alice Arthur, this is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the power of storytelling in a peaceful retreat centre in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside
