Event Description

This conference is designed for healthcare providers, administrators, managers, patients, students and residents interested in improving the health of individuals and communities. We are offering AMA category I CME.

Several stubborn, complex issues exist in healthcare today. Leadership in healthcare genuinely seeks involvement from healthcare providers while those same healthcare providers feel they are not listened to. Silos exist in medicine and patients have difficulty navigating those silos; wandering the cornfields instead. Leaders struggle with how to engage communities in health when often they don’t begin to understand a culture very different from their own. This complex world requires methods of engagement different from what we have been using. See more.

This three day conference is experiential training in participative processes and a chance to learn how to implement, and leverage these tools to build collaborative, integrative healthcare communities. Change management, systems thinking, and the power of questions are among the concepts explored. Participants will demonstrate competency with practices through participation as well as opportunities to lead several proven methods designed to integrate and utilize diversity, discover the collective wisdom, encourage constructive conflict, and lead to sustainable solutions.

By involving a diversity of stakeholders in health in this conference we hope to expose you to new ways of operating that will align your efforts towards better health. Help make this possible by sending a team from your organization or community.

At the conclusion of this conference participants will be able to:

Engage groups in inclusive conversations leading to wiser action.

Listen with Attention, without judgement and Speak with Intention

Leverage diversity for wiser action.
