Profile Information:

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
My first experience with Art of Hosting was in December 2013, in Portugal, where I attended a conference Art of Hosting by Dey Dos. It changed my life and ever since I try to host myself and others each day. I got to know myself, my goals better during conference, the times when we called a circle. It was an eyes opener, everything fell into places, I understood that this art can transform mine and other lives through synergy, conversations and I want to give it to people as well as to myself. Also, I love that Art of Hosting is different from facilitation and we never know where we will arrive when checking out.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Everything starts by active usage of Art of Hosting in my daily life - asking myself and others powerful questions, practising appreciative inquiry and compassionate listening, being fully present. For two years I have been working in various team leader positions, so mainly I used open space, circle check in- check out methodologies, harvesting. I also keep calling a circle together with people and teaching them about art of hosting. Usually most of emphasis is on powerful questions, which ends as a practical discussion and harvesting. I consider myself a starting practicioner.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Powerful questions, relationship building.
Where do you live/work?
I live in Czech Republic and work here in an international company.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I love bio danza, travelling and teaching people, but my biggest passion is having conversations with people, creating something new together with them.
