- How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
- Hello, and thank you for the questions. I learnt about the Art of Hosting from friends working in international projects several years ago and was curious to know more then I decided just now to join as I think it is an interesting community of practice where I belong.
- Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
- I have been facilitating internationally for more than 20 years with many different techniques and methods. I am currently an IAF member and certified professional facilitator (CPF). In the IAF I am the chapter leader for Italy, have been a member of the Brussels one and am currently coordinating the chapter calls of the EME region. Facilitation and support to change is my life and passion.
- What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
- I work on leadership, change, improvement and co-design of futures for public and private organisations. Have been facilitating both large scale and small initiatives. Generally I tend to work on long term projects with large teams of facilitators and change makers.
- Where do you live/work?
- I live in Pisa, Italy and work mainly in Europe but also in North and South America, Middle East and Africa.

Though not set up together, AoH and IAF are definitely first cousins! We would definitely benefit in joining our talents and life forces in tending to today's complexity in organisations. I attended the IAF conference in Paris in Nov 2017, it was such a powerful event! Jean-Philippe and I love to notice and discuss the small differences between facilitating and hosting. Fascinating subject!
