Profile Information:

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I attended the Art of Hosting training in Karlskrona, in March 2011. I am driven to promote distributed leadership in communities and organisations. I believe this is key to more equality and social sustainability, in turn leading to ecological sustainability.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I believe I am competent in leading and sensing other people's will to lead - I then give them space and support.
I am also eager to keep learning and making connections between people and ideas.
My experience is in a wide variety of team work environments, ranging from working with the poor communities of my country (Mauritius) as a child, to working as part of an engineering team at a large shipyard.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
The primary focus of my hosting work is building capacity and "enchantment" of the world for people to enjoy a fulfilling life, free from the chains of the current socio-economic paradigm.
In order to achieve that, I want to promote multi-disciplinary dialogues, enriching the pool of interests and number of peers that people can relate to.
Where do you live/work?
I live in Sweden, currently studying in the Master of Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability
