How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?

My dear friend Mary Johnson told me about it. I then attended an AofH Training in Pembrooke ON, Canada in April 2009. The focus on conversation and relationship attracted me.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)

My background is Human Resources and organizational development. I started a consulting practice two years ago and am now starting to weave the principles of AofH and conversational leadership into my work. I would describe myself as and experienced facilitator however a starting practitioner in terms of AofH approaches / practices.
