Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I use AoH as my compass and a mix of its methods where appropriate at conferences, meetings, and longer processes which i co-host. Or, when meeting a stranger in the bus.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
My focus is to host spaces where difficult but necessary conversations can happen. My passion is to develop a longer arc so the fruits of these conversations can lead to impact towards a more sustainable world and ultimately a peaceful human civilisation.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
* How can we move towards peace together?
* I am passionate about systems thinking and sustainability and fascinated by science and spirituality.
* The contribution of religion towards sustainability: We have a value crisis and every religion offers scripture and traditions that point to unity. (this was the topic of my master thesis.)
* I am an engineer, sometimes a geek. I connect in person with anyone and everyone all the time but mostly on public transport.
Welcome to the Art of Hosting community, Mischa! Please post a photo when you can so we can really "see" you here. Then join in with all the conversations. You'll find plenty of resources here, too, to help you deepen your practice. And the more you add to your profile, the more the community can learn from you and share with you. And I'm looking forward to seeing what unfolds in India!
