Profile Information:

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
Chris Corrigan introduced me to Art of Hosting. Since I met Chris in 2002 I've been a practitioner. Since I met Toke in 2005 I've sharpened my skills. Recently, I was invited to sit in circle with the Stewards.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
The Art of Hosting is a valuable piece of the whole. It is the Grandmother spider that fixes the web. Warrior of the Heart is the polishing of my inner power and the courage to step up. Together these practices are the essence of who I am, my thlimakstee.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I work with indigenous youth and emerging leaders in the area of governance and leadership to restore their Nations.
Where do you live/work?
North Vancouver, Squamish territory. I work at the National Centre for First Nations Governance
Would you like to share a web address?
http://www.fngovernance.org
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I am most passionate about the environment and living my inherent rights. This is best accomplished in my own territory in Clayoquot Sound. I am holding a dream to build a learning village to restore the land (it was clear cut) and the lake (it was fished out) and be a steward in the territory of my paternal grandfathers.
