  Minds Working on Sustainability—A Workshop to Explore the “Art of
  Hosting” Sustainability Conversations\nOffered at UMass Lowell by t
 he Lowell Center for Sustainable Production and New Directions Collabo
 rative, this workshop will introduce practical techniques to engage pe
 ople in creating change and strategies for sustainability.  The works
 hop is designed for sustainability coordinators and others who work wi
 th people over whom they have no authority.  This interactive and exp
 eriential workshop will introduce simple yet transformational techniqu
 es for engaging individuals, groups and teams in collectively developi
 ng solutions. The “Art of Hosting” offers new ways of hosting and 
 designing meetings and conversations that access the wisdom of a group
  in more powerful ways.  The session will also include time for refle
 ction on how these practices can be applied in the work of the partici
