How to organise a market place

Dear all,

I am working with my boss on a teambuilding event for a new directorate. What we want to do is get people from different units/departments to link in with each other on concrete projects.

The idea is that each unit/department brings forward some projects/experiences they are involved in, and others that have questions/want to try something similar can post their questions/needs - and that we can then create a sort of "marketplace" where the two can be combined.

I remember having seen this done years ago, but I can't quite remember the process - it looked a bit like an Open Space matrix...

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
