When you click on people's names or people's pictures it brings you to their personal information page, where you will see an empty box that is named Comment Wall - when you post your question or comment there, then it will only go to this one person.

When you post in forums, groups or below videos or pictures, it is visible for everyone to read.

Just click on the person's name to get to their page with their comment wall. If you don't understand you can always ask me!
