How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: I was recommended by my friend who is a Practical Philosopher last week at Grayson Perry's Provincial Punk opening at Turner Contemporary in Margate (cool exhibition!).

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): Definitely a beginner - I've taken part in a World Cafe and a couple of Philosophical Inquiries, I've also just trained to be an Action Learning Set facilitator.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: I run projects for young people - primarily young makers and creatives. I'm planning on running Action Learning sets with them as well as some World Cafe's with the group of young people and their wider community, to help co-create projects that will supply what they need to thrive. I'm very interested in how powerful these conversational tools can be.

Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?: I'm passionate about helping young people find ways to earn a living, especially those working in the arts, to make a more even playing field so that those who have talent and work hard can succeed no matter what their background.
