How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
My official AoH training was in Brussels in 2007. I am fairly experienced having been on the hosting team in Brazil for AIESEC, Copenhagen for the Inner Climate Learning Village and for the Art of Humans Being in Massachusetts.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have been a community connector and facilitator of groups my whole life starting with creating a youth group in my high school days and many other groups since. Having the AoH community and practices in my life has been a blessing and has helped me to deepen into my ability to hold space and allow for transformation to emerge in myself, my personal relationships, boards I serve on and my professional life.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I am using my hosting skills in a variety of settings here, mostly helping non-profits connect to their bigger vision and create next steps together. I am also looking into hosting on a larger scale here in my new community. Will keep you posted as things evolve.
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
I love being with people in the AoH world from all generations and countries. There is a commitment to honest and open communication, joy and evolutionary practices. I want to live in a space of co-creation with nature and people passionate about making a difference from that space as well. I love to dance, sing, do art, co-create and play with my mates!
