Profile Information

How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?: at Powers of Place website September 5, 2012. I have directed a healthy community project in the past and am very aware of the need for hosting.

Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward): I just heard of this project but it is very much in tune with Mexican cultural practice. In the 1990s and early 2000s I worked with a group to develop a healthy community project. We began by opening a small adobe building and inviting women for coffee. A council was formed and all of our meetings reflected hosting.

What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?: I am not presently engaged in this work but would love to in the future

Where do you live/work?: El Paso Tx
