How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
I completed a 4-day AOH training in Ireland in 2008, and have practised these methods for many years as a facilitator. Recently moved to Australia and keen to connect with like-minded practitioners and opportunities to improve my practice.
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I guess I am an experienced practitioner but feeling rusty now, as I have not practised for the past year. I feel its an ongoing learning process and practice is important. I am a passionate advocate of this way of facilitating and have used it in many different scenarios.
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
Youth, social inclusion, community resilience.
Where do you live/work?
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
Working with communities, diverse backgrounds, marginalised youth etc...
