How did you learn about Art of Hosting (please add the date and place) and what attracted you to it?
After Nico's suggestion, I'm checking it out, and by the minute more and more interested in the perspective of having, encouraging, leading or just watching meaningful conversation!
Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
I have no experience in the AoH, but I've been "hosting" all my life due to my passion for people, processes, and the common good, and in fields of work that have ranged from improving democracy and community organization and development, to clean tech/ energy start ups and venture capital (always in South America)
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
I currently help lead a complex, multistakeholder project in Uruguay to gain the highest social and environmental benefits in a waste management program through a venture capital initiative aimed at recycling and energy.
Before, I worked in fair trade, microfinance, project guidance and development, and organizational networking (in the fields of democracy and social responsibility).
Where do you live/work?
I live in Córdoba, Argentina; my work is spread out through Latin America
Are there interests/passions that you'd like to share?
My passions include - working with people, to make things happen; Traveling (for work or holiday) to have contact with people that live and do things differently; the challenge of understanding things, especially when they are dynamic, and systemic; photography and aikido; and, always, returning home to see my family and friends.
