Tell us about your experience with Art of Hosting as part of your life and work. What would you say your competence in it is? (new, starting practitioner, experienced practitioner, steward)
Over the past six years, I’ve worked numerous projects using World Café, Open Space, Circles, Appreciative Inquiry and Civic Engagement. I’ve had the good fortune of experimenting and practicing with many of the thought leaders behind these methods. After 35 years as a Manager, Trainer Facilitator and Activist, I’m continuing that work as a consultant with the University of Cincinnati Center for Criminal Justice Research.

I currently work closely with Peter Block and the A Small Group Network for Civic Engagement and the Restoration of Community. I was intimately involved with the experimentation, reflection and creation of Peter’s latest two pieces of work. Community; the Structure of Belonging and The Abundant Community; Awakening the Power of Families and Neighborhoods

All of these experiences have led me to Art of Hosting...
What is the primary field/topic/focus in your hosting work?
