<p>I remember Ria...that post was the first major harvest on my learning journey about power that Tuesday and Kelly initiated with the Stewards Gathering, and which was birthed for me in working with the Canadian Labour Congress in 2009 and 2010 with Tenneson. <p>Visiting my mother (87 years old!) in New York City, we both went down to Occupy Wall Street. I have so much hope and so much doubt about this moment as the potential to really shift the bases of power. The gathering has evolved from a young person's event to a multi-generational, multi-racial protest. Peaceful, passionate, thoughtful, engaged. I came away reassured that there is strategic thinking going on behind the scenes (not in a closed way, just late at night!) because I believe…</p>
