DESCRIPTION:Story is the way we humans make sense and meaning of the w
 orld. Being able to share your story is a key skill. Being able to use
  story to chart your course is leadership at the highest level.  Ther
 e is a power and potency in stories we are only now rediscovering. As 
 the basic form of human currency, stories hold both our worldview and 
 the wisdom of our experience. The key to unlocking their power is lear
 ning how to work with story – both for yourself and for the groups a
 nd systems you are part of.\nAs more and more voices compete for influ
 ence, it is even more important to be aware of, working with, and shap
 ing your own story.  The stories we hold shape our future possibiliti
 es individually, organisationally, and from a community point of view
 .  To create the biggest impact, you need to learn to work individu
 ally — both listening for and telling powerful stories — and syste
 mically – working with the stories in the system you are part of. Ev
 ery leader needs to know how to use the power of stories to engage the
  team and the future. On this three-day residential training we invi
 te you to look at how story works on the individual, group and meta-sy
 stemic levels.   Our work will be based on a simple six-step model, 
 The Tao of Story, a map for the practice of both Storytelling and 
 StoryWork.  We will be using our own stories as the material for our
  practice together.\n During the training you will:\n\nFind and tell 
 your own story:  Find the stories you need to tell.  Craft the st
 ories that help you take charge of your work and life. Hone your Story
 telling skills.\nEngage in StoryWork:  Learn how to search out and w
 ork with the stories that help or hinder your business, through the 
 practice of StoryWork.\nDiscover systemic stories:  Find out about h
 ow to work with systemic stories and the wisdom they hold. See how th
 ey can chart your course for the future.\nWork together with other pa
 rticipants to craft your stories and hone your skills.\nUncover the ne
 xt steps in your story practice.\n\n The training will take place in E
 nglish, with group support for other languages.  Who is this for?\n\nI
